Cleo Manago is long time self described "social architect," activist, community organizer, essayist, media commentator, health and wellness expert and recipient of numerous awards. He is also founder and CEO of the AmASSI Health & Cultural Centers - an international organization. In 2005 Cleo Manago was invited to speak at the 2005 Millions More March, in Washington DC, representing the Black Men’s Xchange (BMX). A historic first, Manago was invited by Minister Farrakhan to address an international Black audience because of his leadership in BMX - an advocacy, leadership development, political empowerment and social change organization for same-gender-loving (SGL), bisexual Black males and heterosexual allies. |
